Entrance to the building

Four entrances to the building. One from the street and three from the courtyard. Only one entrance from the courtyard, Staircase A fully accessible for persons with disabilities. Available ramp, the door 120 centimetres wide automatically opened with the push of a button. The lift and each of the five possible floors in this wing of the building can be reached freely. The other wing completely inaccessible for persons with disabilities.

Corridors and passages

Staircase A: flat corridor, no barriers, easy access to the lift to the five-storey wing of the building. Room 210 on the second floor with a high door handle, at a height of 127 centimetres. Administrative room 164 of the Faculty of Philosophy with a raised door handle at a height of 120 centimetres. Not possible to get to the three-storey part of the building: no lift and high stairs. Staircase B equipped with a lift, but too small for a wheelchair. The passageways more than 90 centimetres wide.

Procedures

Getting to the classrooms and toilets in staircase B requires the help of a third parties. The lift too small for a wheelchair.
