Entrance to the building

The main entrance to the building located on the east side, accessible from a gently rising square paved with stone slabs. The main entrance to the building with a double-leaf, hinged, detector-operated automatic door, 260 centimetres wide (two hinged leaves 130 centimetres each). On the left side of the door frame a bell button for summoning help. Installed at a height of 163 centimetres.

Corridors and passages

The entire facility with the access for persons with disabilities. Each usable floor of the building accessible by a set of lifts adapted to the needs of the wheelchair users. No passageways smaller than 90 centimetres in the building on the main circulation routes. Lifts marked successively from W1 to W6 with entrance door width [centimetres]: W1=200, W2=160, W3=90 W4=90, W5=110, W6=90 and cabin dimensions (width x depth) W1=178 x190; W2=180 x180; W3=88 cm x 130; W4=88 cm x 195; W5=142 cm x 154; W6=120 x140. Handrails in lifts at 80 centimetres height. Width of all entrance doors to lecture rooms in the range of 95 to 105 centimetres. Door handles at a height of 110 centimetres. Braille descriptions for classrooms - none.

Bathrooms, toilets, changing rooms

A public cloakroom and reception area located at the entrance to the building. Each usable floor of the building accessible by a set of lifts adapted to the needs of persons with disability.

Additional customizations

No Braille descriptions for lecture halls. Lifts with voice information in Polish and English. Buttons marked with Braille captions. No inductive loops in lecture halls, secretariats, concierge hall etc.

Access and parking spaces

Bus, tram, other means of transport. Two parking spaces for persons with disabilities in the underground car park. Access from the underground car park to all usable floors provided by lifts, adapted for persons with disabilities.

The right to enter with an assistance dog

Easy access with a guiding dog.

Designated seats for wheelchair users in all lecture halls.
