Entrance to the building
Main entrance located in central tower (middle one) with a ramp for persons with disabilities by the door made of wood and glazed, opened manually. Two-leaves doors, 90 centimetres wide each, a doorbell and an intercom on the left. No tresholds. In the entrance hall a vestibule with automatic sliding door - the minimum passage light 180 centimetres wide.
Corridors and passages
The corridors in the building without thresholds to impede the movement of a person with disability. Each corridor over 90 centimetres wide. One lift in the building located at the junction of the central tower and the north connector, where the floors from level 1 underground to the 4th are served. The cabin is equipped with an alarm button and an intercom for contacting the concierge. The cabin dimensions are approximately 110x195 centimetres. The building also has a wheelchair lift in the entrance hall, which serves 3 floors from 1 underground to the 1st floor. The doors at stops 1 underground and the ground floor swing out glazed with a dimension of 1000x2000 milimetres and at stop 1 swing out glazed doors with a dimension of 1100x1137 milimetres. The platform dimension 1100x1400 milimetres. Load capacity 400 kilos. The lift equipped with the following safety elements: emergency stop button "STOP" on the platform and in the landing; overload sensor; pressure safety bar on the handrail of the platform; pressure safety bar at the edge of the platform floor; door bolts with control of door closing and locking; safety post in the landing. Single-leaf doors for smaller teaching rooms and offices are 90 centimetres wide. For the large teaching rooms, double doors have been installed - each leaf is 90 centimetres wide. The height of the handles and pulls does not exceed 110 centimetres.
Procedures
In case of any problems while opening the front door, it is best to use the intercom located to the left of the main entrance, which will call the concierge. The concierge will open the front door allowing a person with disability to enter the building. When using the wheelchair lift, the concierge must activate the lift by remote control, which releases the door lock. Once it is activated, if the person with disability has difficulty opening the lift door manually, the concierge will assist the person by holding the door and allowing entry. Regular employees who require regular use of the hoist can apply to the Business Section for a remote control for the persons' with disabilities hoist, allowing them to use it freely.
Extra help
Service staff on the premises between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Night staff on duty from Monday to Friday also available to help. The concierge hall open 24/7.
Bathrooms, toilets, changing rooms
4 toilets for persons with disabilities on level 1 underground in the entrance hall, on the ground floor in the north tower and on the 3rd and 4th floors also in the north tower. The restrooms for the wheelchair users meet the required standards, have grab rails and are equipped with an intercom system allowing contact with the concierge. The cloakroom located on level 1 underground in the entrance hall.
Additional customizations
The buttons on the ramp with Braille captions. Unfortunately the current old passenger lift and platform without voice information. No Braille captions at lecture rooms. No inductive loop in the building.
Access and parking spaces
The building located in the city centre with many possibilities of access by public transport. In front of the building 6 parking spaces designated for persons with disabilities.
